Support Groups

Collective Conversations

Collective healing happens when we unite and share experiences.

Find Your Community

In this monthly membership, connect virtually with a group of amazing humans who are divesting from diet culture and working toward body liberation. Coming together as a collective creates space for healing to take place.

In this Collective Conversation, you can expect to:

  • Meet people who are on a similar journey

  • Feel seen and heard in your experience

  • Find direction in where to go next in your journey

  • Share wisdom with other community members

  • Be in a brave, vulnerable and transformative space

Collective Conversations Membership is a place for people who:

  • Feel alone in their food and body liberation journey

  • Are looking for connection with others doing this work

  • Have already started on their non-diet journey

  • Find themselves bumping up against diet culture and anti-fat bias with friends and family

  • Interested in learning through a social justice lens

Feel they need less 1:1 support but would still like a point of connection and support in these areas

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each month there will be a different topic and focus on questions from members. This is a space to share stories with other real humans doing this same work. We will be meeting twice monthly, so you can expect to be in the space with others for 30 minutes and 60 minutes, respectfully. This time will be part information sharing from your facilitator and part open discussion with other members. It’s facilitated by a Registered Dietitian who deeply cares about your well-being.

  • This membership is for individuals that are familiar with topics such as food relationship, non-diet approach, diet culture and weight inclusivity/anti-fatness. Beyond that, individuals could be at any stage of healing their relationship with food. The purpose of this membership is to create a place for people to build community.

  • Unfortunately, sessions are not recorded to respect each individual’s privacy. If you are unable to attend a session please email your facilitator as soon as possible.

  • Dietitians are a regulated profession, as such there may be some restrictions on what groups participants may join. Please contact us here if you reside outside of Alberta or British Columbia.
