  • Hi, I am Allison Easton!  I am a fat positive - weight inclusive Registered Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and co-founder of The Nourish Collective.

After almost 3 decades of experience (eek!), I have truly found my passion supporting individuals in healing their relationship with food and their body.

My goal in working with clients is to establish safety and create space to explore their life experience with food and their body; make connections between their experience and their behaviours; identify and unlearn unhelpful rules/belief systems; heal the wounds of diet culture; and build a relationship with food that feels effortless and allows them to live the life of which they are so deserving.

My biggest hope in supporting clients is that through this work they begin to see a glimmer of their power and purpose – something that is often taken away in the rupture of their food and body relationship.

At the center of my work is respect and compassion shared through a warm, down-to-earth approach. I care very deeply for the health and well-being of my clients.

Coffee and quiet get me out of bed in the morning.  I enjoy a full life as the mom of two adult children and two dogs.  I am married to my biggest supporter and together we enjoy time with our family and friends; adventuring around Alberta in our trailer; and time in nature.

Emily Lovell (Fentie), RD

She/Her location_onBritish Columbia person Virtual sessions in AB, BC, ON

  • Hi, I’m Emily Fentie! I am a virtual dietitian, and I am passionate about helping people heal from disordered eating. I support clients in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. I studied at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and have been working as a dietitian for over six years.

Clients I’ve worked with have described my nutrition-therapy style as compassionate and kind. I feel grateful to have been a part of The Nourish Collective since the beginning, it’s connected me to many incredible people (clients & team). Being a virtual dietitian has allowed me to live in a few different places over the years, with the most exciting one being the island of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. I feel most expansive when in nature, and our dog, Frankie makes sure we’re out exploring several times per week.

My hope is for clients to feel hopeful, held/empowered and a sense of ease at the end of our session together. I support humans in eating disorder recovery, chronic dieters looking for an alternative to dieting, and clients living with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) navigate nutrition therapy in a weight-inclusive environment.

I look forward to holding a non-judgmental space for you, along this liberating journey of reclaiming home, trust and safety with food and your body.

Erin Nelson, Registered Dietitian in Edmonton

Erin Nelson, RD

She/Her location_onEdmonton, AB person In-person & virtual sessions

  • Hi I’m Erin Nelson! I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor. As a weight inclusive dietitian, I love to support humans in healing their relationship with food and their body.

Whether I am supporting clients through exploring a path that leaves dieting behind, navigating through disordered eating, or exploring what healing from an eating disorder looks like for the individual, my approach is one of compassion, understanding and non-judgment. Working from trauma informed and social justice lenses have allowed me to see systems of oppression as ever-present in our day to day lives and these systems deeply impact the unique food and body stories of my clients.

I find the most compassionate way to support my clients in their journey is to truly meet them where they are at. It is in this way that we can explore the individual goals of my client and create a plan together to get them closer to what is truly important to them.

I want my clients to leave my office feeling seen and heard, validated and empowered to take the next right step for them.

I would be so honoured to walk alongside you in your journey toward reconnecting with nourishment and your body in a way that honours authenticity, trust and safety.

Piper Menini, Registered Dietitian in Calgary

Piper Barboza Menini, RD

She/Her location_on Calgary, AB person In-person & virtual sessions

  • Hi! I’m Piper Barboza Menini and I’ve been working as a dietitian since 2018. I am incredibly passionate about helping folks heal from body distrust and disordered eating.

Clients I work with often share that our work together can feel unexpected, but that they wish they had explored their food and body relationships sooner. You might expect a session where we unpack and challenge the “status quo” regarding beliefs about food, bodies and health.

My hope for clients is that they can experience a session that is centred on their own experiences and leaves them feeling like they aren’t navigating the messy middle on their own. Many clients I support just want food and being in their body to feel easier and I move them through sessions with compassionate nutrition care that is weight inclusive and trauma informed.

Outside of work, I feel most fulfilled when I am spending time with a good book at home, hiking in the mountains or trying out new ice cream flavors. Staying connected with friends and family over game nights is regularly a highlight of my week.

I look forward to helping you learn to live at peace with food and your body, so that you can live your one life to its fullest capacity.

Larissa Ens, Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator in Edmonton

Larissa Ens, RD, CDE

Currently on parental leave

She/Her location_onEdmonton, AB person In-person & virtual sessions

  • Larissa has focused her work in the past 6 years on supporting those living with diabetes and is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). She found this area of practice to be focused on weight and restriction and noted the negative impact this had for those she supported. This led her to learn more about concepts such as Health at Every Size and intuitive eating and she now practices through a weight-inclusive lens.

Larissa helps those living with diabetes pursue a healthy relationship with food and their bodies, while managing the complexities that come alongside living with a chronic disease. Larissa has a special interest in type 1 diabetes and insulin pump therapy. She is incredibly grateful for the trust put in her by her clients, and the relationships she has the opportunity to form. Compassion is at the core of Larissa’s practice.

When not working you can find Larissa exploring the trails of Millcreek Ravine with her partner, daughter, and dog or experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen.
